Why Wireless Went Away....

• A big part of it was that whole satellite thing

• Spectrum was expensive, coverage spotty

• Wires were so cheap and easy, and worked so very well

• FCC wouldn't allocate part of the spectrum to wireless use

• Super High Frequency (SHF) components were expensive (SHF was is bandwidth was plentiful)
